The 3rd Battalion, 26th Artillery (3/26 Artillery) was a distinguished artillery unit of the United States Army. Activated during the Vietnam War, the battalion provided critical fire support for infantry operations, often engaging in direct and indirect fire missions to counter enemy forces. Stationed at various firebases throughout South Vietnam, 3/26 Artillery played a vital role in major operations such as Operation Junction City and the Tet Offensive. The unit earned several commendations for its effectiveness and bravery before being inactivated as part of post-war force reductions.
