The 3rd Battalion, 14th Infantry Regiment (3/14th Infantry) is a storied unit of the United States Army with roots tracing back to the 14th Infantry Regiment, originally constituted in 1861. Throughout its history, the battalion has served with distinction in numerous conflicts, including the Philippine-American War, World War II, and the Vietnam War, where it played a key role in several major operations. During the Vietnam War, 3/14th Infantry was part of the 25th Infantry Division and was noted for its actions in the Central Highlands and the Iron Triangle.
