The 3rd Battalion, 103rd Armor (3/103rd Armor) was a unit of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard with a distinguished lineage tracing back to the early 20th century. Originally organized as an infantry unit, it was later converted to armor, becoming part of the 28th Infantry Division. Throughout its history, the battalion participated in numerous training exercises and supported both federal and state missions, including deployments for homeland security and overseas operations. The unit was inactivated in 2005 as part of the Army’s transformation and restructuring initiatives.
