307th Aviation Battalion

The 307th Aviation Battalion was originally constituted on 18 March 1966 in the Regular Army and activated at Fort Benning, Georgia. It was organized as part of the 12th Aviation Group and later deployed to Vietnam, where it provided critical aviation support, including troop transport and logistics, during the Vietnam War. Following inactivation after the conflict, the battalion was later reactivated and has since supported various operations, both domestically and overseas, including humanitarian missions and combat support.
