2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment

The 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, known as the "Warriors," traces its lineage back to 1808, making it one of the oldest units in the U.S. Army. The battalion has served with distinction in numerous conflicts, including the Civil War, World Wars I and II, Vietnam, and more recent operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. During the Vietnam War, the unit earned multiple commendations for valor and professionalism in combat.
