The 2d Howitzer Battalion, 31st Artillery (2d How Bn, 31st Arty) was an artillery unit assigned to the 4th United States Army and stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Tracing its lineage to World War I, the 31st Artillery Regiment provided crucial fire support in both World Wars and during the Cold War era. At Fort Sill, the battalion trained in field artillery tactics, supporting readiness and artillery innovation for the U.S. Army. The unit contributed to the development of artillery doctrine and played a key role in preparing soldiers for deployment to various theaters of operation.
