The 25th Engineer Battalion was first constituted on 16 October 1935 in the Regular Army and activated on 1 February 1941 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. During World War II, the battalion served with distinction in the Pacific Theater, participating in campaigns such as New Guinea and Luzon. Over the decades, the 25th Engineer Battalion has been deployed in numerous conflicts, including the Vietnam War, where it provided vital combat engineering support for the 25th Infantry Division. Today, the battalion continues its legacy of excellence, supporting military operations and humanitarian missions worldwide.
