The 256th Combat Support Hospital (CSH) is a United States Army medical unit that provides comprehensive medical support, including emergency care and surgical services, to military personnel in combat and field environments. Activated in the late 20th century, the 256th CSH has participated in numerous training exercises and deployments, including operations in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
