The 250th General Hospital was a United States Army medical unit activated during World War II. Organized in 1943, it was deployed to the European Theater, providing vital medical care to wounded Allied soldiers following the D-Day landings. The hospital unit operated in France and later in Germany, treating thousands of casualties throughout the campaign. After the end of hostilities in Europe, the 250th General Hospital was deactivated in 1945, having played a crucial role in wartime medical support.
