2:508th Infantry Brigade, 82ABN

The 2nd Battalion, 508th Infantry Regiment (2/508th IR) is a distinguished airborne infantry unit within the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. Originally constituted in 1942 during World War II, the battalion participated in major operations such as the D-Day Normandy landings and the Battle of the Bulge.
