2:35th Armor

The 2nd Battalion, 35th Armor Regiment (2/35th Armor) was originally constituted in 1941 as part of the famed 4th Armored Division. The battalion played a pivotal role in World War II, participating in major European campaigns including the breakout from Normandy and the relief of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge.
