2:33rd Artillery

The 2nd Battalion, 33rd Artillery Regiment (2/33rd Artillery) was a distinguished field artillery unit of the United States Army. Activated during World War II, the battalion provided crucial fire support in both the European and Pacific Theaters. Reactivated and deployed during the Vietnam War, 2/33rd Artillery supported infantry operations with accurate and sustained artillery fire, particularly in the Central Highlands and III Corps areas.
