The 230th Signal Battalion is a unit of the Tennessee Army National Guard with a proud legacy of service in communications and signal operations. Originally organized in the mid-20th century, the battalion has provided critical communications support to military operations at home and abroad, including deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Throughout its history, the 230th Signal Battalion has enabled command and control by establishing and maintaining voice and data networks in challenging environments. The unit continues to uphold its tradition of excellence, adapting to evolving technologies and missions to support the United States Army and its allies.
