The 225th Aviation Company, originally activated in the 1960s, was a United States Army aviation unit primarily known for its service during the Vietnam War. Nicknamed the "Sky Masters," the company was equipped with reconnaissance and utility aircraft, including the OV-1 Mohawk, and played a crucial role in aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and support missions. Operating out of locations such as Vung Tau and Phu Loi, the company provided vital intelligence to ground forces, often flying dangerous missions over hostile territory. The 225th Aviation Company earned commendations for its effectiveness and bravery before being inactivated following the drawdown of U.S. forces in Vietnam.
