1st Space Brigade

The 1st Space Brigade was activated on October 16, 2005, as part of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. Headquartered at Fort Carson, Colorado, the brigade provides space-based capabilities such as satellite communications, missile warning, and space situational awareness to support combatant commanders worldwide.
