The 1st Field Force was a U.S. Army unit that was formed during the Vietnam War. It was established in 1966 and was responsible for coordinating and directing combat operations in the III Corps Tactical Zone in South Vietnam. The unit was composed of various infantry, artillery, and support elements, including both American and South Vietnamese troops. The 1st Field Force played a significant role in numerous military campaigns, including the Tet Offensive and Operation Junction City.
