The 19th Transportation Company was first constituted during World War II, activated on 1 May 1942. It played a crucial role in supporting Allied logistics operations across the European Theater, providing essential truck and convoy operations. Over the decades, the unit has served in numerous conflicts, including the Korean War, Vietnam War, and Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, ensuring the continuous movement of troops, equipment, and supplies. Today, the 19th Transportation Company remains a vital component of the U.S. Army’s logistical capabilities, upholding its legacy of reliable transportation support in both peacetime and combat environments.
