196th Light Infantry Brigade

The 196th Light Infantry Brigade was a light infantry brigade of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. It was originally activated in 1966 and served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970. The brigade participated in various combat operations and was known for its expertise in jungle warfare. It was deactivated in 1970 after the end of the Vietnam War.
