17TH Reg - 7TH Infantry Korea

The 17th Regiment, part of the 7th Infantry Division of the United States Army, played a significant role during the Korean War. Activated for combat operations in 1950, the unit landed at Incheon and participated in the liberation of Seoul, then advanced north toward the Yalu River. Throughout the conflict, the 17th Regiment fought in major battles such as the Battle of Pork Chop Hill and the defense of the Pusan Perimeter.
