Originally activated in 1942, the hospital provided critical medical support to American and Allied forces in the European Theater, including during the Normandy Campaign. Reactivated and reorganized several times throughout its history, the unit has deployed in support of major operations, including Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Today, the 14th Field Hospital continues its mission of delivering advanced, expeditionary health care in support of U.S. and coalition forces worldwide.
