The 142d Signal Brigade was a communications unit of the United States Army, originally constituted during World War II as the 142d Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion in 1942. The unit provided critical signal and communication support in various campaigns during the war, ensuring reliable battlefield coordination. Reactivated and redesignated several times throughout its history, the brigade eventually became a key training unit responsible for preparing soldiers in signal operations at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The 142d Signal Brigade was inactivated in 2007, with its mission and personnel integrated into other Army signal units.
