1:180th FA Arizona National Guard

The 1st Battalion, 180th Field Artillery (1/180th FA) of the Arizona Army National Guard traces its origins to the early 20th century, with its lineage rooted in Arizona's early militia and National Guard artillery units. Organized and federally recognized in the interwar period, the unit provided vital artillery support during World War II and subsequent conflicts. Over the decades, the 1/180th FA has participated in numerous state and federal missions, including domestic emergency responses and overseas deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
