The 10th Medical Laboratory was constituted on 18 July 1942 in the Army of the United States and activated at Camp Barkeley, Texas. During World War II, the unit provided vital medical laboratory services, including disease diagnosis and epidemiological support, in the European Theater of Operations. After the war, the 10th Medical Laboratory continued to support military medical missions, adapting to advancements in medical technology and changing operational requirements.
