The 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, also known as the "Wings of Destiny," is an aviation unit of the United States Army and a key component of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Activated in 1968, the brigade provided critical air mobility and support during the Vietnam War. Over the decades, the 101st CAB has participated in major operations including Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
