TUSLOG Det 30 Ankara

TUSLOG Detachment 30 (The United States Logistics Group, Detachment 30) was a U.S. Air Force unit stationed in Ankara, Turkey, during the Cold War era. Activated in the 1950s, Det 30 provided vital administrative, logistical, and operational support for U.S. military and NATO activities in Turkey, particularly coordinating efforts between U.S. forces and the Turkish government. The detachment played a key role in facilitating communication and supply lines for American missions and was essential in strengthening the U.S.-Turkey alliance during periods of regional tension.
