**97th Munitions Maintenance Squadron (97 MMS) Military History:** The 97th Munitions Maintenance Squadron (97 MMS) was initially activated during the Cold War era to provide specialized munitions storage, handling, and maintenance support for the 97th Bombardment Wing.
