8th EMS

The 8th Equipment Maintenance Squadron (8th EMS) is a United States Air Force unit stationed at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. Activated in 1982, the squadron provides essential maintenance and support for the 8th Fighter Wing, ensuring the readiness of F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and associated equipment. The 8th EMS is responsible for a wide range of maintenance functions, including aircraft structural repair, munitions handling, and aerospace ground equipment upkeep.
