82nd FMS

The 82nd Field Maintenance Squadron (82nd FMS) was a unit assigned to the United States Air Force, supporting the 82nd Airborne Division and later, the 82nd Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. Activated during the Cold War era, the squadron provided essential aircraft maintenance, repair, and logistical support, ensuring mission readiness for a variety of training and operational aircraft.
