7167th Air Transport Squadron

The 7167th Air Transport Squadron was a United States Air Force unit activated during the early years of the Cold War. Stationed primarily at Rhein-Main Air Base in West Germany, the squadron operated under the Military Air Transport Service (MATS) and played a key role in supporting U.S. and NATO operations in Europe. Its primary mission involved transporting personnel, cargo, and critical supplies throughout the European theater, enhancing logistical capabilities during a period of heightened East-West tensions.
