6950th Electronic Security Command

Looking to connect with my fellow Air Force buddies who were assigned at the 6950th Electronic Security Group, RAF Chicksands, UK from 1989-1992.

My first day of USAF Basic Training was 29 SEP 1981. From there I went to the USAF School of Applied Cryptologic Science at NTTC Corry Station, Pensacola, FL. Upon graduation I flew to RAF Chicksands, England for 3 years then PCS'ed to Cannon AFB, NM for 5 years. I got out and the USAF moved me to southern California where I worked at McDonnell-Douglas Electronic Systems Company for 3 years. After that I worked for various I.T. companies including H. Ross Perot's I.T. company, Perot Systems. After spending 13 years out there I moved back to my home town in Ohio. I'm still working in I.T. today.

During my stay at the 6950, I learned the meaning of teamwork, supervision, and management. It was there where I cut my teeth into the intelligence career field. From there I honed my analytic, supervision, and management skills at NSA and went on to more challenges at other AF and consolidated bases to accomplish their unique site specific missions. I miss the networking.
