The 622nd Tactical Control Flight (622nd TCF) was a unit of the United States Air Force responsible for providing tactical air control in support of combat operations. Activated during the Cold War era, the 622nd TCF played a key role in establishing and maintaining air-to-ground communications, ensuring effective coordination between air and ground forces. The unit was often deployed to forward locations, supporting exercises and real-world contingencies to enhance battlefield awareness and control.
