The 621st Contingency Response Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force that specializes in rapidly deploying to provide support in emergency and crisis situations. They are trained to set up airfields, unload cargo, and establish communications in austere environments. The wing is based out of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey and is composed of a variety of specialized personnel including security forces, logisticians, and air traffic controllers.
