The 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing is a United States Air Force unit that provides airlift and aerial refueling support for military operations around the world. It is based at Ramstein Air Base in Germany and is responsible for supporting airlift and air refueling missions in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The wing operates a variety of aircraft, including C-17 Globemaster III and KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft. Its mission is to provide rapid global mobility for U.S. and allied forces, as well as humanitarian relief efforts.
