The 509th United States Forces Police Squadron (USFPS) is a security forces unit within the United States Air Force, stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. The unit is responsible for base security, law enforcement, and the protection of strategic assets, including the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber fleet. The 509th USFPS traces its lineage to the original 509th Bombardment Group, renowned for its role in World War II. Today, the squadron remains a key component of the 509th Bomb Wing, ensuring the safety and operational readiness of one of the Air Force’s most critical installations.
