4911th Air Police

The 4911th Air Police Squadron was a United States Air Force security and law enforcement unit active during the Cold War era. Stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the unit was primarily responsible for safeguarding nuclear weapons storage and transportation, as well as maintaining security across the installation. The 4911th played a critical role in base defense, access control, and emergency response, ensuring the safety of both personnel and sensitive materials.
