The 430th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) is part of the 57th Maintenance Group at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. It was activated to support the 430th Fighter Squadron and is primarily responsible for the maintenance and readiness of the F-35A Lightning II aircraft. The unit plays a critical role in ensuring aircraft are mission-ready for training and operational exercises, including the prestigious Red Flag exercises. Through its dedicated efforts, the 430th AMU contributes significantly to the United States Air Force’s advanced fighter capabilities and overall combat readiness.
