428th TFW

The 428th Tactical Fighter Wing (TFW) was a United States Air Force unit activated during the late Cold War era. Originally established as part of the Air Force’s efforts to bolster tactical airpower, the 428th TFW was equipped with advanced fighter aircraft, such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The wing participated in numerous training exercises and joint operations, enhancing interoperability with allied air forces.
