4045th Combat Defense Squadron

The 4045th Combat Defense Squadron was a United States Air Force unit established to provide security and ground defense for Strategic Air Command (SAC) installations. Activated in the late 1950s, the squadron was assigned to the 4045th Air Refueling Wing at Selfridge Air Force Base, Michigan.
