39th MMS

The 39th Munitions Maintenance Squadron (39th MMS) was a United States Air Force unit primarily tasked with the storage, maintenance, and handling of nuclear and conventional munitions during the Cold War era. Activated in the early 1960s, the squadron played a critical role in supporting Strategic Air Command (SAC) operations, ensuring the readiness and security of vital armaments.
