The 376th Field Maintenance Squadron (FMS) was a United States Air Force unit primarily responsible for providing maintenance and support to aircraft assigned to the 376th Wing. Activated during the Cold War, the squadron played a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of strategic bombers and refueling aircraft, particularly during its assignments at overseas bases such as Manas Air Base in Kyrgyzstan. The 376 FMS maintained and repaired aircraft systems, engines, and components, directly supporting air mobility and combat missions in various theaters. Throughout its history, the unit was recognized for its technical excellence and vital contributions to U.S. Air Force operations before its eventual inactivation.
