The 363rd Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) is a unit of the United States Air Force known for providing engineering support to air operations. Historically, the 363rd CES was assigned to the 363rd Wing, which played a vital role in supporting fighter and reconnaissance missions, notably during its time at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, and later at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. The squadron has been essential in constructing, maintaining, and protecting base infrastructure, especially during Operations Desert Storm and Southern Watch in the Middle East. Through its efforts, the 363rd CES has ensured mission readiness and operational effectiveness for deployed air forces in various challenging environments.
