The 35th Fighter Wing is a United States Air Force unit based at Misawa Air Base in Japan. It is responsible for conducting air superiority, aerial reconnaissance, and interdiction missions in support of U.S. and allied forces in the Pacific region. The wing operates F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft and is also tasked with training and providing combat-ready forces for deployment. The 35th Fighter Wing has a long history of excellence and has earned numerous awards for its contributions to national security.
