352th SOW

The 352nd Special Operations Wing (SOW) is a United States Air Force unit based at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. Established in 1944 as the 2nd Combat Cargo Group, the unit has undergone several redesignations, ultimately becoming the 352nd SOW in 2015. The wing specializes in special operations missions, including infiltration, exfiltration, and resupply of special operations forces, primarily using CV-22 Osprey and MC-130J Commando II aircraft. The 352nd SOW has played a vital role in supporting NATO and U.S. operations across Europe and Africa, enhancing allied interoperability and rapid response capabilities.
