The 35th Aircraft Generation Squadron (35 AGS) was an integral component of the United States Air Force, operating under the 35th Fighter Wing. Activated in the late 20th century, the squadron was responsible for the maintenance, generation, and readiness of combat aircraft, ensuring mission capability for assigned fighter units. The 35 AGS played a vital role in supporting operations from Misawa Air Base, Japan, contributing to regional security and various international exercises. In the early 2000s, the squadron was inactivated as part of an Air Force-wide reorganization that merged aircraft maintenance functions into consolidated maintenance squadrons.
