The 291st Combat Communications Squadron (CBCS) is a unit of the Hawaii Air National Guard, based at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. Established in 1967, the squadron’s mission is to provide rapidly deployable communications and information systems in support of military operations worldwide. The 291st CBCS has supported numerous exercises and real-world contingencies, including disaster relief efforts in the Pacific region and overseas deployments.
