27th Field Maintenance Squadron

The 27th Field Maintenance Squadron was activated as part of the United States Air Force to provide comprehensive maintenance and logistical support for the 27th Fighter Wing. Established during the Cold War era, the squadron was initially stationed at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico. Its mission included the repair and upkeep of aircraft and ground support equipment, ensuring the wing's combat readiness.
