22nd Air Refueling Wing 

The 22nd Air Refueling Wing is a United States Air Force unit responsible for providing air refueling support to military aircraft around the world. This wing is based at McConnell Air Force Base in Kansas and is one of the oldest and most experienced air refueling units in the Air Force. The 22nd ARW operates a fleet of KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, which are capable of refueling a wide range of aircraft mid-flight. The wing plays a critical role in extending the reach and capabilities of U.S. and allied aircraft during operations and training exercises.
