About this Unit
The 192nd Tactical Fighter Group (TFG), Virginia Air National Guard (VaANG), was established in 1962 and is based at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. Throughout its history, the 192nd TFG has operated a variety of fighter aircraft, including the F-84F Thunderstreak, F-105 Thunderchief, and later the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The unit has participated in numerous training exercises and deployments, supporting both state and federal missions, as well as overseas operations.
