The 17th Defense Systems Evaluation Squadron (17th DSES) was a United States Air Force unit primarily tasked with providing electronic warfare training and evaluation for air defense systems. Activated in 1955, the squadron operated various aircraft, including the EB-57 Canberra, to simulate enemy threats and test radar and missile systems.
