165th Aviation Group Combat HHC

The 165th Aviation Group Combat Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) was an integral aviation command unit in the United States Army, primarily active during the Vietnam War. Established to oversee and coordinate multiple aviation battalions, the 165th provided crucial command, control, and logistical support for helicopter operations throughout the conflict. The group played a key role in a variety of missions, including troop transport, medical evacuation, and aerial reconnaissance, significantly enhancing the mobility and effectiveness of allied forces.
